Dreams through wood . . .

WELCOME

Dreamer and self-taught creator

At 16 I discovered Gustave Klimt and was captivated by the artist's works and the colours he used. Visits to the Musée d'Orsay allowed me to discover François Pompon and his fabulous bear sculptures that I love so much. I am fascinated by the monumental works of these artists.

After studying advertising and communication, I had the opportunity to join an events production company and to work with professionals in the field creating surreal and sumptuous atmospheres through fabulous sets, lighting and magnificent costumes. This world apart opened the door to my creative dreams.

Whilst there, I was asked to step in as temporary stage manager, a moment of absolute happiness.

As life sometimes leads you to make more practical career choices, I left this environment but soon found myself in a professional setting that did not necessarily suit me without my fully realizing it.

I needed to dream and to create but my full-time employment meant I could not find the time. However I still had the chance to travel and meet wonderful people who nourished my inner being with emotions.

I exchanged ideas, I shared experiences, I opened my mind to alternative creative possibilities.

Fascinated by the great outdoors and nature at its most beautiful, I had thought for some time of creating pieces in natural materials in order to create particular and warm atmospheres.

Living in the mountains, I have a breath-taking panorama offering me its share of new surprises on a daily basis, like the visits of wild animals around my garden, or a majestic eagle flying so high and free, and these experiences have acted as my inspiration.

Fulfilling the dream of a lifetime meant that eventually I had to take the plunge and try to achieve a project that had been hiding deep inside me for such a long time that I had almost forgotten it.

First attempts become successful finished products, and the process became my passion.

Today thanks to this dream I create wooden paintings and try to show through them my love of nature and the world, and I hope to be able to share with you this magnificent dream.
